A new Concept in Pole Sports.
Catherine Dachtler, owner of Little Sapphires Pole Sports School has developed a new theme in the world of Pole Dance & Fitness so all the ladies (& some Gents.) can now show off their hard work to their friends and family in a non judgemental setting under the bright lights of a stage.
Walking into your first Pole Fitness class with all the excitement thinking that 'working out' will never be the same again and will now be fun forever is so liberating, but added to this can be the fear of whether your instructor may show you up by showing off or by asking you to do something that you cant physically do, yet all fears are put to rest in a Little Sapphires class.
This Little Sapphires Pole school has been advancing beginners to advanced competition standard pole dancers for over 5 years and the team have developed The Pole Factor originally as a friendly low key event that enables spectators to join us and also to increase local school social gatherings.
The Pole Factor
Catherine decided that by dividing styles of the Pole Dancing in class and for performances enthusiasts the student and instructor can focus on the individual strengths and make assets work best for them, for instance if you are flexible and have enjoyed ballet as a child you may find Contemporary Pole is more your thing, so you are asked to dance to Classical music and really show off the dance by story telling and producing a flowing routine, or if you feel that dancing is not your thing Sporty division for Rock & Pop music is where there is little or no dance at all, and there's also a Freestyle category which a club type dance style using rap/hip-hop where heels are encouraged rather than bear feet.
So you see by dividing the music, it helps the instructor focus on strengths, challenges weaknesses and creates a great avenue for students to aim towards something that is more than increasing strength, power, stamina, balance, co-ordination and flexibility.
"The Judges at our events have been chosen as those being at the top of their game, UK Pole Artistes Champion, Britains Got Talent Finalist, Italy got Talent Finalist, Miss Pole Dance UK, and many other high profile performers give Live feedback in front of the viewing crowd so every one learns the performing stage presence aspect of crowd awareness and how to perform to show off all the hard work done in class.
This year there is an open show on the 10th May in Suffolk and the evening Championships and performances with a Bar & VIP area with only 70 seats left its going to lift the roof this year as we see former winners perform and pass on their winning crowns.
